ABOUT US
Every bit helps and UpcycleHope started by blessing little people a lot! Our projects started in 2016 in South Africa and we came across babies who where barely wrapped in towels. We helped with baby clothes, nappies and food for families. We also got involved in sponsoring education for nursery children and are closely involved in the nursery environment. From there we grew and are a registered charity since 2019. Together with partners in South Africa we are feeding 88 families on a monthly basis and have regular soup kitchens, helping where we can.
Upcyclehope is dynamic and diverse. In Dubai we have various partnerships. One is to send essentials to schools and orphanages to 9 different countries based on their unemployment and poverty rate. Second is to sew washable and reusable sanitary pads for girls who miss school because they do not have access to this basic need. Thirdly, we are also involved with animal welfare partners and the environment.
With the global pandemic hitting economies hard and people losing their income, a lot of families are left stranded and we are in partnership to help feed around 3000 families who have no other means to provide for themselves.
Mission
Every bit helps and we are helping little people a lot!
Vision
We live beyond ourselves by using our strength to help others. Starting with women and children, we would like to impact communities, transforming lives and bring people hope. We also like to connect with people, because we believe that isolation is a massive challenge for humanity and there is a lot we can learn from different cultures and each other.
Our Values
All of us are created in the image of God, therefore we are all valuable. We believe in caring for people from all people groups and support where we can.
Why & For Whom?
To give people hope. To uplift people and communities and help children discover their potential. To have an impact in people’s lives. Looking at a more sustainable way to impact the next generation. By upcycling materials, we also upcycle peoples hope.
